Twitter users can now share and receive images in direct messages in its updated version for iOS and Android devices. Users who update the app can send and receive images through DM on both mobile and web versions of the service.
The new versions of Twitter include a few additional changes, including the ability to swipe between the "Home," "Discover" and "Activity" timelines within the app.
The update also put a Messages tab across the bottom navigation bar, making it easier to access Direct Messages from the home screen. On the new version of the Android app, users can tap the star icon next to the Follow button on a profile page to set up notifications for that particular user.
